Srinagar, 26 June: In a commendable gesture of humanitarian service and community welfare, Chinar, under the aegis of Eternal Trust, organised a Medical and Refreshment Distribution Camp at Zadibal on the solemn occasion of Youm-e-Ashura. The initiative aimed to provide timely medical assistance, first aid, drinking water, refreshments, and other essential support to thousands of mourners participating in the Ashura processions.
The camp witnessed an overwhelming response from the public and remained operational throughout the day, ensuring that devotees and visitors received prompt medical care and refreshments. The initiative reflected the Trust’s unwavering commitment to serving humanity irrespective of caste, creed, or religion, while promoting the values of compassion, solidarity, and selfless service that define the spirit of Muharram.
Chairperson of Eternal Trust expressed heartfelt gratitude to all supporters, donors, and well-wishers whose generous contributions and continued encouragement made the humanitarian initiative a resounding success. The Chairperson noted that the programme was made possible through the collective efforts of volunteers and community members who worked tirelessly to ensure smooth arrangements and quality service.
