Srinagar: Prof Sheikh Ajaz Bashir assumed the charge of Principal Amar Singh College and as Nodal Principal Kashmir Division colleges as well here on Wednesday afternoon.
Prof Aijaz was accompanied by large number of Faculty from Islamia College and was received by Amar Singh college staff and students.
In his message to staff he impressed upon them to work as a team and ensure transparency and honesty in all the initiatives of college.
He impressed upon the faculty to work towards better enforcement of discipline in the campus. Further he called upon them to express maximum guardianship towards students.
